Optimized Wastewater Solutions for Livestock Manure Lagoon Treatment

2024-09-09

At Inozner, we understand the growing challenges in managing livestock wastewater, particularly in manure lagoon systems. As livestock farming scales up, so does the need for effective pollution control to meet water discharge regulations and reduce environmental impact. Our HPPG and RCPG lines of filtration systems are designed to provide advanced, supplementary filtration for existing lagoon treatment setups, significantly enhancing their performance.

Our filtration solutions target nutrient and organic load reduction both before and after the lagoon treatment process, ensuring compliance with strict discharge standards while also reducing the frequency of lagoon maintenance and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions.

  • Pre-Lagoon Filtration: The HPPG filters can be installed before the lagoon, where they reduce solids and nutrient loading through mechanical filtration. This decreases nitrogen, phosphorus, and greenhouse gas emissions, while also reducing the frequency of dredging required, thereby extending the life of the system.

  • Post-Lagoon Filtration: The HPPG and RCPG filters treat lagoon effluent, ensuring it meets strict discharge or irrigation standards. Additionally, the HPPG filters support denitrification, helping to remove nitrates and further reducing nitrogen discharge.

Livestock Wastewater Treatment: A Growing Challenge

As the livestock industry continues to grow, so do the challenges of managing wastewater. The increasing pollution of livestock farming sewage has made it essential to develop effective treatment methods. Inozner's containerized livestock wastewater treatment plants have been designed in response to this need, ensuring that the daily wastewater generated by farms is efficiently treated through advanced processes.
